I felt like just giving up. I even toyed with the idea of drinking (I’m a recovering alcoholic) . Now things have kind of returned to normal. I had to go back to the first 3 steps of AA.
But the whacky thing is the AA “procedure” sorted me out. Not just the desire to drink, but the angst that was tempting me to drink.
I’m sorry you had such a rough day, but it’s awesome you were still able to remember your coping skills. Everyone has bad days sometimes. You’re still a fighter.
You have been going through a hard time for a while. Give yourself a pat on the back for staying strong. And think of all that nicotine fluid coming your way!
