We’ve had a lot of Christmas threads, and that’s wonderful (I’m Christian), but I’m hoping that the Jewish people on the forum don’t feel left out. That said, I want to wish all of the Jewish people on the forum a Happy Hanukkah!

My father is Jewish I have a jewish last name. But I was raised Catholic. We light the menorah, that’s about as far as we go…

When is Hanukkah?

Hanukkah begins at sunset on December 24, and I believe ends at sunrise on January 1.

kindness, it ends when the stars come up at night of january 1.

i don’t remember ever our holidays co-inciding in the calendar with christmas and new years the way it does this year. it’s kind of cool for me.

i like being together with others.
