I used to think that years ago.
I hope I can manage it well later on. But I also know the reality of having it the rest of my life.

I know it will always be around. I’m not really worried about all that. I don’t think about outgrowing it/ its part of me now. I’m just worried I’ll miss out on life experiences like a career or kids

Don’t be discouraged, you can still have kids or a career even with schizophrenia.

Thats true, and I’m doing really well. It’s just going to be a battle, and I’m not sure if I will win.

34 here, not that young. but starting to feel like I’ve outgrown it already. not hallucinating on meds, and don’t think im delusional anymore.
