Tight lungs after quitting smoking?

I think cigarettes have a chemical in them that acts as a bronchodilator.

I haven’t smoked for 2 or 3 days now and I feel like I can’t breathe fully sometimes.

Messing up my sleep too.

I should be rewarded for stopping smoking with the ability to blow down a skyscraper :crazy_face:

Sleep, etc. will all return to normal in a short time. Good you stopped. Think of the money you’ll save.

Yeah I get the same effect as a result of quitting. Tightness in the lungs.

I had shortness of breath when I quit smoking a year ago.

It lasted for a couple of weeks. I googled it and was told it is normal…just your lungs starting to repair itself. It went away, and I’m breathing fine now.
