Thrown-shopping

Normally I do an online grocery shop a day or two before the sell buy date for my milk runs out which usually coincides with my milk and iced coffees running very low . This time however the sell by date is today and I still have over half a container of milk left.
I also have 8 iced coffees left where normally I may have just one. It’s kind of thrown me as normally I do a shop every 9 days or so. I don’t know whether to do a shop anyway and get rid of the unused milk or to use the milk until it nearly runs out and then do an order.
It may sound silly but things like this really throw me.

Depends on how bad it is. And how much it costs. I throw out milk all the time. Why don’t you just drink it all up? Or just buy a new milk and save the old milk and drink both of them? Just order a new one and drink them both. As you say, it’s not actually a big deal or that complicated. Either decision is not the end of the world.
Personally I would try to drink up the rest of it and when it’s almost gone then I would place an order for a new one. There, that’s simple enough. That’s what I would do. I don’t know how much other food you have left. Hopefully you can hold out a few days while you drink this milk. We’re just talking a few bucks here.

I’m thrown by a lot of stuff. Grocery shopping usually I like, however.

I guess what may throw one person will be water of a duck’s back for another. It pays to remember that we have varying abilities to cope with different things.
I know that the things that can worry me often seem trivial to others.

No, I get worried by simple things too. It’s amazing I get anything done. But I do. I figure if people spend so much time trying to keep me down, then I must know something.
