Thought broadcasting

How long did it take for your thought broadcasting to go away on medication?

Medication did not make a difference to me. It was the fact that I believed that I could communicate with people in my head that made it happen.

Hmm.

Perhaps it All Fits into The Puzzle of Body Language…,

Although The Endless Creatures, Small or Large May Disagree… . …

It took me 1 to 2 days for the effects to diminish a lot, but still, the remains are need for our logical and sound mind combined with logical reasoning and evidences proving that we did not thought broadcasted.
For me, even though I used a webcam and video capture myself for whole 2 mins, and re-view it back by my own, I still can’t convinced myself that I did not thought out loud. the thing is, the video showed no lips moving, no signs of obvious body language that indicates the possibility of me speaking without me knowing. scientifically it is impossible and since I am very normal and can function near to normal humans, that means that my thought broadcasting is false, hence I will tell myself and tries to instill this truth to me. it’s not convincing anymore, it’s more like reprogramming your own mind to the right settings and how it should normally work.

So yours never went away?

No, it did, I am free from voices now. My thought broadcasting went away. One day it dawned on me that you cant actually communicate with people in your head and it was part of how I had become ill. When I realized that the voices went away pretty quickly. Just how the illness works I guess.

I used to think a psychic I met online was reading my thoughts, this stuck with me to this day after 14 years!
I guess it’s just the way some things strike a chord ---- you might never get over it

About a month on meds for me.

It took forever for my thought broadcasting to go away on medication. I was only on one AP for most of my adult life and that was not enough to get rid of it. Even two AP’s wasn’t enough. It took three.

Actually, I had both thought broadcasting and thought insertion at the same time.

And it’s completely gone?

@Broadcaster,

I’d say 99.0% gone. It crops up rarely.

My pdoc’s and nurses think that all my psychosis is in remission due to more than just my meds. They think it is also mostly due to all my coping skills that I do every day or very frequently. Here they are:

  1. Exercise
  2. Good nutrition
  3. Good sleep hygiene
  4. Engaging in creative activity
  5. Mindfulness meditation
  6. Prayer
  7. Volunteering or a job
  8. The arts and cultural activities
  9. Movies
  10. Music
  11. Socialization
  12. Social Media
  13. Pet ownership, if possible
  14. Reading

Thought broadcasting is a son of a gun. It’s like the heavens have marked you for as a targeted individual and everything takes notice of you. Suffocating.
