How would you define admiration and how do you propose I measure it?

as in looking up to a person as a successful, that you glad of their success
Aside from famous ppl, I also admire some family members, for their attitude

I admire my dad the most. He goes to work every day five days a week and never complains and has done that since 2002. He has always taken good care of me and our cats and since 2021 my stepmom’s dog too.

Probably only my close friends, family, and one or two YouTubers whose videos have helped me along the way.
Even then, it’s more a case of relating to them or empathising with them than looking up to them. Maybe it’s an expression of being grateful? I try not to think of people as being above or below me, these days.

Yea I don’t like to look at ppl below or above either. Instead, it’s that I see qualities in these ppl that I highly respect. And would like myself No one is perfect, we all have our strengths and weaknesses and all in between, as far as I’m aware.
