I do hope you find someone who renews your personhood in you. I have my beloved feline family member. She loves me and I love her! She makes me feel whole again and helps me to well-being even in uncertain times.

I have my cat. And I’m actually getting along with some of my neighbors.
Cats are the greatest. Can’t wait to go see all the ones at the shelter this weekend when I volunteer!! 
To the dog lovers, I grew up with two gorgeous dachshunds; one who protected me with his life, graduated me from high school, and sadly passed away from loneliness when I went to college.
My late beloved sister introduced me to cats due to a tragic misunderstanding with the parents over her canine companion. I have never turned back!
When I was going to this psycho-social rehab place where I used to live, we would go once a month and play with the cats in a no-kill, no-cage facility. I was impressed when one of those impressive children dared to bolt from the enclosure and totally upset her “keepers.”
My beloved cat is a completely indoor cat and a true scaredy cat. When someone knocks on the door, she runs and hides to her special little drawer in the bathroom. If I can’t find her anywhere else; she is usually there not in the $19.99 condo I bought at PetCo! There at times, I wish I could fit my self into that little drawer she loves so much!
