In the article he says: „The other big misconception is that a schizophrenia diagnosis means a person can’t live a productive life, but with the right medication and treatment, they can.“

I’m wondering about that, because I assume that most people on this forum are not able to work.

i think with the invega im on i prob would be able to work some kind of job IF i hadnt spent the last 13 years isolated and lost all my social skills or had any work history. things might be different if i was 20 years old right now.
