Thinking a lot about fire

We burn to be born, we burn to make a special effort. We can watch a fire consume a house, wishing we could help but are powerless. We can enjoy campfires without fear - or I think we can. Doctor burned me with radiation. That still hurts. And, not to forget, we cook and heat our homes with fire. A spark even runs our cars. I used to light cigarettes with fire. I’m glad I’m over that one.

It is a very primordial, and useful element for sure. It makes me think of the Phoenix rising from the flames, born of the destruction so to speak

we had a pyromanic move in to my group home and set fire to two of the staffs cars. That wasn’t fun. It could off been the house.

According to Greek mythology Prometheus gave us fire, something man wasn’t supposed to have.

Oddly in the Chernobyl incident, they had a Prometheus status at the center…

Kinda proving the point I guess

I was watching this video just today about how the Santa Cruz mountain area is recovering after the last fire there. It’s so beautiful! We have a lot of fires here in California and it is fire season. Stay safe everyone!
