It is so sad and there’s nothing we can do but keep them in our hears and minds…

It is sad and so many are also misplaced and homeless.
My half siblings probably don’t like me but I pray that their family and them are safe now. Senseless fires. I always feel arsonists are doing this.

For the animals ,buildings,wildlife and food ,people etc
How terrifying I find it.
What brave people there are.
My man is a volunteer firefighter.
I am really scared of fires but live in a place that gets hot and bush fire season …
My older step daughter is in LA. But she’s ok where she is.
I think @Csummers lives somewhere in california…anyone heard from her?

Yesterday I saw people asked for a donation for California’s fire.

Nick is in the San Jose area, about a 4 hour drive to Paradise.
Not sure why he’s not on here, hope he’s ok.
I’m about a hundred miles away from the fire. Close enough to have to stay inside because of the smokey skies doing a number on my lungs, but that’s all.
Makes for pretty sunsets the pollution and all.
(taken out of my front window- that’s why the halo effect on the sun)

We have relatives displaced by the camp fire about 3 hours from here, and we have other relatives housing those displaced by the fire. We are so close but not close enough to do anything to help. All we can do is pray and I’m not a praying person normally, but in times like these you pray.

I live in California, the bay area to be exact. The air is considered very unhealthy and I have been staying inside to avoid damage to my lungs. People are safe from the fires around here for the most part, it’s just the air that could be hurting us
