My drug of choice was crack but I would use cocaine too. Crack was easier to get.

she has a bit of a screaming match at my mum every few days on anything more than a couple and it’s never just a couple
I know it’s up to her - i fully expect her to kill herself

i knew our middle sister wanted to die since early childhood, she died age 25
i have less hope left and my youngest sister is proving that alcohol can really mess your whole life up easily when a couple of bottles of wine was every day 15 years ago and heavy use since age 12
she is 40 this year
I feel like a bit of a snowflake - i have had real trouble with my husband complaining all evening
and not having had an occasional drink for a while myself
being near the menopause
and an intense need to make myself okay now for my mum
that idea came as a sudden shock to me after seeing her suddenly get so much worse
she is frail now
and has advanced osteoporosis
she will die if she is shoved even once and pushed over i would expect

She was talking about having a smoke with them (the dealers) a bit but they have a pool table she said
she is thinking of getting me to teach her pool so she won’t feel so dyslexic when she hangs around with them
I don’t mean to be harsh either but she is kind of doing it to herself. I don’t mean to be cold or inhumane or put down your sister or be insensitive. But it may mean she was a little at fault for doing drugs because doing drugs is a choice at first. That said, once you cross that line into addiction, there is almost no choice because you HAVE to use. From what I get from your post, you’re siblings have major problems besides drugs. Your sisters need help but what worked for me was AA,
CA and NA.
I seem to remember that your sister refuses to go to a 12-step group though. That’s too bad. I don’t how to get your sister help, she’s an adult and she can do what she wants.

she has been openly getting hash from them
and i think she now wants more after the ‘taster’ what must have been a gram or a half one
she has signs which i have started to look out for, like talking unnaturally fast
she said to me she wouldn’t do it but if she has crossed over to wanting it very badly she’d lie
I seriously thought that crack was a slang name for cocaine. So what’s the difference? And I’m sorry about your sister. Maybe one day she’ll realize it’s messing up her life and living in that other reality isn’t good for her.

Cocaine does tend to make you talk faster and be more talkative.

our middle sister had unremitting schizophrenia for 11 years
the sister we are talking about has had severe suicidal depression living with mum for 4+ years
she has a the most serious self cutting / stabbing relationship with herself and won’t take antidepressants or see a gp or see AA people
she drinks very alcoholic and has shouting fits at anyone who will listen probably a couple of times a week
and has been confabulating every now and then for 4+ years
Crack is a form of cocaine. It’s a more concentrated form of cocaine and comes in a small, solid form. Cocaine is powder. Crack gets you higher than cocaine and faster. Crack is smoked in a pipe. Cocaine is snorted.
