They saying it is anxiety , not parania

The psychologist over the phone is saying that because i am able to question it , it sounds more like anxiety. But it feels more like parania…

Why it’s like paranoia?

Because I’m able to acknowledge it when questioned I’m not sure  it does feel a lot like paranoia.

It must be confusing. Whatt matters is that it treated and you are able to experience relief

My 26 yr old son is paranoid too. He says its the voices in his head that is giving him anxiety. He’s in the hospital now because the extreme paranoia. They said they had to adjust his meds again… It’s only been a week so far. Doesn’t seem to happen yet where he’s ready to come home. The longest he’s been in the hospital was just over 2 weeks. At least he’s getting 24/7 help.

You can have paranoia and question things.
You can be paranoid and have insight so I don’t know what your psychologist is talking about.

It could be a little bit of anxiety and paranoia mixed together.
This is quite common.
It happens to me all the time.

Yeah therapists don’t know much about severe mi like bipolar and schizophrenia.
My therapist doesn’t have a clue and she’s a PhD psychologist.
This is typical.
