They finally found Housing for me!

The supervisor for Supportive Housing from my charity organization called me up earlier today.
They finally found Housing for me.
I was on a list for about a year and something finally came through!
The House is located only 18 minutes away from my parents house.
I will be having two other room mates.
It’s located in a nice town, walking distance to stores and shops.
I have to let her know if I’m going to take it by next week.
Going to discuss it with my family first.
Honestly don’t know if I’m going to take it because my elderly Mom needs my help.
At least the option is open to me.

That’s exciting! If you do say yes, you can always change your mind later. It’s not like they will force you to stay at the house. But it might be good, because you’ll have a stable place to stay in case anything happens to your parents.I mean, that’s kind of a scary thing to think about, but it could happen.

That’s exciting @Vertigo. Go take a look and keep an open mind.

If it’s only 18 minutes from your parents house, maybe you could try it out and you can always stop by your parent’s house periodically to help out with your mom.

Let us know what you think once you’ve looked at the house.

That’s great! My uncle is in a housing program and because he found a good place to live he has been much more stable and was able to get a job. (He has schizophrenia).

Yeah she has Dementia and can’t walk on her own.
