They are talking about Phoenix Arizona, and Italy on the news

It’s 48⁰c and reaching 50⁰c in Arizona! It’s the hottest place on earth atm. About 100 deaths.

The same in Italy, 48⁰c.

How hot is it where you are?

The air must not be on though, because even though its only 82 outside, it feels hotter than the fires of hell in here. I’m sweating.

That’s actually pretty standard for phoenix at this time of year especially since the rain hasn’t come yet.

I saw a bit that said the 5 hottest days on Earth were recorded this year. Not sure if it’s accurate but if it is then it’s a worry.

Coal is the main cause of global warming. Green energy on the way, but it’s going to take time to transition and replace the carbon energy. Can only hope that it will be taken seriously when we are breaking all kinds of heat records.
