The Raw Carnivore diet

Seen stuff over the years online about it. Looks disgusting and repulsive… raw meat and organs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Humans teeth, enzymes, dna, and digestive tract length all points towards being omnivores, and cooked meat has been consumed for tens of thousands of years, maybe even millions since man started walking.

I think Liver King made a fad, and a big buck out of this. People were buying his supps until he admitted he was on roids/ped cycles.

I think the only carnivore diet I would try is with cooked meats. That I could defo do, but I would still end up gagging on food eventually.

You go anywhere around the world (except certain tribal zones) and everyone has a carb as their staple (rice, bread, pasta), and livestock is reared to be cooked and eaten alongside grown vegetables.

Also Blue Zones interest me.

In these zones around the globe, the elderly live longer.

And surprisingly in Sardinia people have a greater life expectancy, but they drink a lot of red wine however they are active most days of the week, and they don’t eat processed foods. I know wine has antioxidants in it, and flavonoids. Just not too sure about the actual ethanol which damages the body (maybe not in moderation)

Humans are also getting disease.
And dying

Not trying to say that humans should not eat meat

But just trying to say, imo the argument is not strong to me.

I still aspire to cut out meat entirely but I totally respect that every individual has unique body and needs, in order for wellbeing

New research shows no amount of alcohol is good for you.

Like diet and exercise can bring big outcomes. They really can.

A year doing keto/lo carb has opened up amazing outcomes for me. Less meds. ( not giving them up anytime soon but lowest clinical doses ) and improvements in negative symptoms for sure. Way more motivation and sticking to tasks. Formulating plans for world domination and such…It’s subtle but it’s real.

Like sundry behavior is interesting. I didn’t drink a lot of alcohol but I’d do a six pack a day and would make plans to do it…I’d imagine typical addict behavior but these days it’s like It doesn’t matter. I basically do 3 days exercise. 1 day off and still enjoy a drink but it’s so much less and it’s amazing how diet and exercise can change that dialogue. It really can.

I’ve started drinking ciders regularly, but I’m cutting down to non alcoholic beers/ciders.

I wish I could do keto, but I love carbs haha.

Maybe in future if I ever get symptoms again, I’ll give it a go. I bet I would like 20kg over 6 month if I did it.

Good on you man for sticking to the keto and the exercise routine! :mechanical_arm:

I’m feeling a bit exhausted from the weight lifting these past two weeks. My body is getting doms cos I need to readapt. I think Next weeks workout will have no aches or anything, but I am upping the weight near to what I was doing back in March again.
