I reduced in the past AT 2,5 mg in the end of 2018 and i was well without schizophrenia, but After i decreased too fast AT 1,5 mg in just one week between 2,5 mg and 1,5 mg and i experienced a psychosis.

And the people that you Know who take just 1 mg of Abilify IS he in good shape with just this little dose ?.

what kind of symptoms did you get? when i reduced i got symptoms just once or twice for a few seconds but no voices. then they disappeared

When i reduced too fastly i experienced a restart of psychosis so just insomnia and few hallucinations.

ok good to know! i have never had insomnia, even when i didnt take any pills. sounds like withdrawal symptoms for me

i always hope that the symptoms are part of a supersensitive psychosis and not come from the actual illness… :confused:

Before i taken abilify i was dépressed and suffer of paranoïa and i become schizophren during my first cold turkey of abilify.

dont lose hope my french friend. i am sure that the healing chances are better taking a lower dose of antipsychotics. best regards

From the article it references 12.5mg abilify seems to have maximum gains for the dose increase

I’m on the highest dose of zyprexa. At lower doses I get delusional. I still hear voices constantly at 20mg. So I don’t believe that I could go on a lower dosage.

I take 0.5-1.0 mg Haldol, 50-100 Seroquel mostly for sleep.

I do admit that more antipsychotics is not allways better than a low dose. The danish scrink had me on 300 mgs depot clopixol weekly now I’m down on 500 mgs of Clopixol every 3 weeks. The scrink had me on 240 mgs of geodon besides n of the depo. Now I don’t get geodon. The scrink had me on 900 mgs Seroquel. Now im down on the dopo and 750 mgs.
the Danish scrink makes it almost impossible to get of the meds because that it almost feels like benzo with drawl.
sorry to say this but huge doses of antipsychotics are almost impossible get of because geting of that much antipsychotics feels like a drug addictive getting of narcotics.
