My stepdaughter was first in the bidding queue for a place for me yesterday evening. I will be moving light with the intention to buy new stuff the other end such as furniture,bedding, electrical appliances ,kitchen stuff etc.
Her intention is to get everything set up in the flat and then to move me . She will sort out gas/electric/internet etc.
The flat itself if she gets it for me is a 1 bedroom flat in the centre of town above a Chemists.

My stepdaughter is keen as can be to get me moved. She’d promised my wife before she died that she would look after me and make sure I was ok. If I can get past the initial settling in and acclimatising to a new area the move should be a good thing.
I will get the kind of support it is difficult to get here . I am currently in Essex and she is in Wiltshire.
I will also hopefully become a great granddad in a few months time. My stepdaughter’s youngest is having a girl. She plans to call it Isla Alice.
