Technically you’re right, but I consider it some kind of illness. We can’t deny that Jack the Ripper was mentally ill.
I’m honestly not sure. I do know that evil and mental illness are different, and they don’t usually correlate.
That’s a good point, but the idea that someone takes pleasure in mutilating people seems to be a red flag that they have something wrong with them
I think to be mentally ill, is to have something disrupt your mental function and abilities to do normal stuff. However, I totally get what you mean and would agree he at least had a personality disorder. But I do truly believe there’s a separation between a personality disorder and a mental disorder.
Technically you’re right, just I myself consider personality disorders as being a mental illness in one way or another. It’s just not chemically based like us schizophrenics but in how their brains are wired.
