The soloist is good. A Cave Man’s Valentine is also good and portrays the schizophrenic experience well.
The most devastating movies you’ll ever see are the ones in your head that tell you that you can’t achieve at least some recovery. That you can’t hope for the things non-SZs have. That you shouldn’t even try. Those are the movies to switch off. Go for a walk instead.
I don’t desire the material things I missed out on, I just want to be able to think straight.

“me, myself , and Irene” has multiple personality complex mixed up with sz as a diagnosis…booo…still a good movie for laughs.
That’s good news because it is a fixable problem.
Mu uncle had SZ. His psychiatrist had him on way too many meds, he got black out drunk pulled a knife out while hitch hiking and got dumped in the snow and froze to death.
His son also believed to have SZ is a drug addict and recently went missing too.
More tragic than any movies I’ve seen
I expected the mental health professionals to be compassionate and intelligent enough to acknowledge and help with the things I struggle with. It was a major error of judgement.
I have learned it is just best not to expect anyone to be competent until they step up and prove they are.
