I don’t think I tolerate atypicals very well. I can’t nap anymore, I’ve gained so much weight, I have insomnia,I can’t feel sedatives anymore, I have Tardive Dyskinesia in my mouth & jaw. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on Karxt and I hope Medicaid covers it. I want to feel normal again & I feel like this medicine will help tremendously. Will any of you get on it once it comes out? Is it supposed to come out this year?

Yes Im going to try it. FDA approval set for September dont know when after it will be available though

Hopefully it’s available this year. I’m semi-new to antipsychotics & I just can’t handle them very well. My pdoc doesn’t want to put me on it right away. She wants me to wait to see how other people respond to it but reading the side effects they don’t seem that bad. & I like how it doesn’t target dopamine
