No one can see your mind. But happy cake day.

I have read on the internet that MRI scans can pick up schizophrenia. I have had two MRIs and have asked about the scans each time. They act like they don’t know what I am talking about.

They just say everything looks normal.

When I’m out I always assess how I did afterwards. I.e. Did I pass as normal.

I think about this all the time. How much my “crazy” is showing. How people perceive me when their interaction or view is so limited.

One of my big hang ups for years is people being able to tell from my mannerisms etc that I’m not normal.

I had a head MRI done a year after I became completely psychotic and they also told me it looked normal.

I don’t think it can pickup Sz, but at least I can rule out other stuff. Still seems silly that something that affects me so deeply doesn’t show on a scan like that.

On the internet they show color scans of what a schizophrenic brain looks like. I don’t know if my MRI had colors. I never looked at them. I will see if I can find a link to what I am talking about.

I’m going back to 1997. I was in a sibling study in Washington, DC.

They told me I was in the minority of schizophrenics because I had a normal brain.

Jayster

Could be fMRI vs MRI.
