I’ve canceled my fair share.

Your psychiatrist understands. He expects this and plans for it.

I punch in my appointments on my iPhone calendar and I get a reminder phone call from my doctors office two days before my appointment.

I get a ride. I wonder what would happen if I’m all alone someday and I have nobody to take me or have no money or I’m too disabled. I see people in wheelchairs taking the bus to their appointments and I commend them. Life can be so hard for some of us.

Or symptoms make you unable to name the symptoms.

Well since they play God, let them part the Red Sea and send me a taxi through it to pick me up and bring me to them.

I make appointments like three to four visits ahead. Often if I don’t feel up to dealing with the 1 hour train trip I’ll cancel. If I need scripts I just have to ride it out. My shrink is so busy it’s not a biggie. Just means he sees someone else quicker and I don’t mind giving my appointment to someone who needs it who is on the cancellation list.

I ditched group for about a month and a half. We meet once a week. I didn’t have a psychiatrist appointment in this time frame.
They were worried about me though. My doc is one of the ones that run the group.

My pdoc does phone appointments with me when I have trouble getting to the office. Sometimes even that doesn’t work, though, because I have intense paranoia around phones. But he’s very accommodating.

My psychiatrist and case manager never gave me slack for missing appointments, I was eventually not allowed on their program because I’d missed so many… had to go through another office for services for awhile. They’ve seen keen to let me back after the last few years, now I’m trying not to miss any. It’s hard some days though.

It’s a long time since I’ve seen a psychiatrist. These days I go to a gal with a Specialist Degree in Nursing.

I was gonna cancel my therapy appointment today and found out my therapist called out sick so it was already canceled. Lucky me.

My gal was fired by her psych med provider for the second no show no call.

My gal is hurt by this firing. Like, my wellbeing is threatened as well.

I freak out at my therapist and leave.

But never missed a pdoc app. Only getting late
