I get out of the house a lot, and I hear a lot of conversations about money.
People seem obsessed about money.
It is true that it’s OK to be concerned about paying bills , but ,
A. there are ways to save money.
B. even if you try to make money, it is very shallow to be obsessed about it all the time.
Dedicate a certain amount of time for providing for yourself and that’s it.
I dont know what county your posting from or financial status-
Here in north america, having or not having enough money for many is the difference between life and death.
Not having enough saved up makes us vulnerable not just to very poor quality of life, but to homelessness. Here, homelessness usually die with in a few years. (maybe 10?) There are shelters, but even those can be dangerous places.
I am curious what country you live in.
My obsession.is checking and rechecking my finances. It soothes my anxiety. It helps me understand my fears regarding my accounts are unfounded. I couldn’t care less about possessions when I’m not manic. I just have no choice or I would lose my mind.
They only think about sex, money, tv and tattling.
Talking about money is a good way to engage in conversation
Most people I know of only care about work and money. They almost seem more insane than I am, going on about jobs, jobs, jobs as if there’s a broken CD wedged inside their brain.
I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with money at all, but my boyfriend is. If we don’t have enough, he’s automatically in a terrible mood. Frankly I get sick of it, because there’s nothing I can do to make him feel better. I already work all the time.
Better to go down dignified
With bought friendship by your side
Than none at all. Provide! provide.

Yep, money money money and almost nobody is happy.
Money might as well be god where I live.
People straight worship it.
I don’t, but I also have enough money not to worry too much.
When I was broke, I knew every balance and credit to the cent.
Its just how we survive.
I think most people ,unless extremely mentally ill, are concerned about money, and how they are going to manage.
I don’t think I’m extremely mentally ill.
Majority of schizophrenics are part of the underclass, the unemployables or the lumpenproletariat. Schizophrenics do not usually participate in the labor pool of a country and a part of the unemployment percentage according to macroeconomics.
There are those people who save their money from wages or salary and other people who generate money from revenue and take in profits.
Consumerism and being materialistic are the drivers in goods & services that are bought & sold. That’s how the world works from my point of view.
I hate money… i wish it would go away…
@flameoftherhine Money or currency will never go away. Deal with it by earning more of it.
Oh i earn moneys… the system just sucks… and $$ is basically worthless paper… inflation from mass printing is messing us all up…
Money will take the form of digital currency or e-money. No need to print money anymore. The economic system of a country is based on supply & demand. Inflation of the prices of goods only goes up when the economy is doing well.
That makes no sense… the inflation is not a sign of good… gas was less than a dollar a gallon at one point… the gas quality has dropped and the price has increased…how is this a good thing…
Yeah but you’re not most people. I like money but it doesn’t drive me crazy. pleasure and passion over purse
IDC bout money like I use to. I’d rather have my mental health back if I had to choose.
