You make a good point. There’s an old saying that “cancer has been cured 100 times over.” It’s a saying because 100’s of treatments for cancer have worked to cure cancer but in mice. The vast majority of them don’t go on to work on humans.
Similarly, mice can be “cured” of symptoms that resemble SCZ but we won’t know if works in humans until it’s trialed in humans . . .
So now the mice have schizophrenia, but they’re doing it backwards?
