I posted that I think the show is fd up.

It shouldn’t be legal to do this on TV imo,
But how would you legislate that? We would require a higher degree of sanity lol

What do you guys think of it?

I’ve seen it.

I think of all the ghost shows,

That woman is the most believable.

I don’t watch it anymore because of that.

She seems to have genuine experience most episodes.

The gruff ex-cop is okay.

Anyway, I don’t watch it because then I’ll start thinking everything is haunted and I already think everything is haunted.

Lots of non-schizophrenic and schizophrenic people love the horror genre. :thinking: I don’t think it’s a problem if it doesn’t set off the symptoms in a SZ person. I read all kinds of books, many with violence (except horror…I won’t read it unless a book is said to be fantastic), and have no problem. The scariest movie I watched last year was Prey (I saw it in the summer of 2023). Sometimes the alien will be in my dreams. I get nightmares on a regular basis, so I have to watch PG13 movies too…good comedies etc, to balance things. I think Abilify is doing its job.

My problem with it isn’t that it’s a horror genre. Its that it reinforces the belief in the supernatural experiences that aren’t necessarily real.

Ah, so it’s a reality show? Just treat it like pro wrestling and yell, “Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?” :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Seriously though, I believe in all kinds of supernatural experiences. So that ship has sailed. I’m not a good person to answer this post, I guess.
