Weight up to 239. Almost back at the starting point. Just shows how easy it is to pile on the lbs especially over Christmas( and I’ve ate less than I normally do over this period). Judging by the struggles I had after an initial promising start I think it will be hard to shift.
Knowing that I am burning about 16% less calories due to the medication I am on(equivalent to a person on a standard 2,000 calorie-a-day diet eating a McDonald’s cheeseburger everyday in addition to their normal diet, which would lead to about a 29-pound weight gain over a year,) doesn’t help much. In fact it shows I am bashing my head against a dietary brick wall. For me it’s definitely easier to put on weight than to lose it.
I am wondering how others have done over the festive period.
I put on a kilo during christmas. Not much…
At a guess like a stone

everyone does and a lot of it can probably be lost pretty quick
I have gained a little and I am very happy with that. Now I just have to avoid losing weight again.

I haven’t gained weight but I’ve workout a number of time. I will set out to lose 20 lbs in 2016.
I gained about 3 lbs. Working on losing them and their friends. My goal is overall physical fitness, not weight. I’m trying to exercise more and eat better to feel better overall. NOT obsessing over the scale this year.

I gained about 4 pounds or so - mainly from stress eating.
