The candle light ritual: quiet and peaceful, but not so little town

Another Friday evening came and I had my ritual again. It is not dark yet here because the sun sets at 21:49. This week has been good and we have had warm weathers here, today +21 c. When I rode my bicycle today some thoughts came to my mind. I thought that it was very quiet and peaceful, not similar to those big cities such as Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. It felt nice to ride my bicycle and then I saw one of my friends and I went to have a chat with him. He also mentioned that it is quiet and peaceful. We both were cycling. The town itself is not so small, nearly 20000 people, but it is located here in Eastern Finland far from those big cities. I was in Helsinki in 2002, 21 years ago, when I arrived back from the States. Helsinki as well as these other cities are large developed international centers, but I like my little town. We have many park benches and many nice little parks. I can also go to my local beach to see the sunrise in summers as I did yesterday. With the Internet we can be anywhere. I have been interested in Israel, its technological developments and events there and so I can read the news on the net even when I am here far from Tel Aviv and Israel. There are a lot of interesting developments going on. Any way the evening has arrived and I am going to have something to eat and it is my meds time. Here is a hat I wore today when I rode my bicycle, it is an old hat and made in the USA.

The peace was broken by a rock concert. At the main square there was a local punk rock band playing today. Something different.
