Again I had my regular Friday evening candle light ritual. During this week I watched one movie, ‘Leningrad’. It was about the siege of Leningrad during the 2nd WW and how the NAZIs tried to starve the city to death. Fortunately they had the lifeline over the lake Ladoga which was used to transport food and other necessities to the city during this siege. People survived although appx. 1.5 million people died. The siege lasted over 800 days. When I lived in America I was invited to many events in different synagogues in Atlanta and once in one event I met two elderly Jewish women and they told how they used this lifeline to transport food etc. to Leningrad during the siege. I visited the city in March 1989 when I stayed there three weeks. Who would have guessed that after 11 years I lived in my auto in Miami and elsewhere in America 783 days (2000 to 2002). Somehow this movie had a strange personal connection. I have desired to visit Saint Petersburg (formerly Leningrad) since I returned back from the States, but I have not done so. It is an excellent movie.

Can you please check if you have the exact right name of the movie? I looked for it on Amazon Prime Video and they have movies about the siege but not with that exact name.
I think this is the right link…
Thank you, @mjseu
