The candle light ritual: a wooden cabin in Siberia

It is another Friday evening and it is the last candle light ritual of this year. Sometimes I have some interesting thoughts in my mind and I have been thinking how it would be different to live in a wooden cabin in Siberia’s winter. But my experience in this morning returned me back to the earth when I walked in the darkness to a grocery store when it snowed heavily and it was windy. The paths were not maintained and so I walked in the snow. Thoughts came to my mind how it was nice to ride my bicycle in the summer when it was +30 C and light in the early morning. These are just experiences that people have to go through. I wish you all a very Happy New Year 2023.

Sometimes I want to go live in a cabin in the woods but I can’t afford it.

I’m looking forward to summer so there won’t be any snowplows and snow blower waking me up really early in the morning.

In my old life when I traveled a lot I traveled in Mexico’s Copper Canyon where I stayed in one cabin in the mountains. Waking up early in the morning there in the cabin in Sept 1996 reminded me of my grandmother’s house in eastern Finland. It was those deja vu feelings.
