The budget is so tight...hard to handle

at the end of the month we are finally down to things we have to hold onto cash for…namely Missy’s spay fee right before payday, another bag of dog food, meds money, and gas money. just enough…oh well…at least we have food…it’s not bad at all really…just no cash.

Don’t forget you can apply for LiHeap every year for electricity assistance. Last year they payed 2000$ for my summer bill.

You’re lucky to have cash to hold on to for those things. Every month half through I have to borrow and borrow just to have food to get through.

I know it, my family is in a very similar circumstance. This economy, while not technically a recession, is still kicking our can.

Unplanned expenses so far this month:

$1,300 stove
$1,100 tires

Can’t wait to see what else I get hit with.

My budget is good as long as I don’t spend my money on beer.

It is good that you keep your budget. It is one way to control spending.
