The affectionate cat came just in time

My daughter is inpatient as of tonight in the psychiatric ward. I spent yesterday and today with her in the ER. This cat started coming to my home for affection and love at just the right time in my life. She’s so sweet. And unbelievable affectionate for a cat I’ve only seen for the 3rd time. She loves to snuggle and be petted. I’m happy to oblige.

I’m thinking I sure name her. Just not sure what yet. I need to ask the neighbors if they know if she belongs to anyone

Welcome to the forum @snailmeat ! Glad you found us!

I’m so sorry you can’t be with your cats anymore. How awful! What happened?

Oh! I’m so glad you can still visit your kitties  And a new puppy? That’s great! What breed? I have a 13 year old Shih Tzu and an almost 5 month old Anatolian Shepherd/Poodle mix.

She’ll be treated for sure. I know you’ve wanted her to be seen for psych issues for a while. I hope she gets good care there and feels better.

That’s how my brother got his cat. She kept coming around and no one claimed her.

Let us know what happens with the cat and your daughter.

@HollyHobbie , I really hope she does get the care she needs. Most importantly, she needs to be proactive and compliant. I sure hope she is, and long term too.

Velkommen @snailmeat

Skunks love escargot sauteed with shallots and butter.

I hope you and your daughter will be well. And good news on the kitty. Mine is being pesty tonight. I left to get groceries but my little friend was making tying my shoes a challenge.

Please keep us updated on both your daughter and new family members.

I wish your daughter a speedy recovery @LilyoftheValley

Maybe you could take in this loving cat into your home if no one claims her.

Welcome @snailmeat!

Thanks @Wave . In re: the cat - I am afraid to because of my new puppy. She’s half Anatolian Shepherd and us not yet 5 months old but is already catching bunnies in the yard. I’m worried she’ll hurt or worse kill the cat

this is my fav pic off me with a Turkey street cat. I really liked her, so friendly, I would pet her everyday and feed her scraps for breakfast, she would always come to me and climb up my legs to be petter. People in Turkey love cats so she was well looked after in the hotel.
