That One Person You'd Like To Meet

@anon35453467 I just now read thru other responses and saw your post about Jackie Chan! I feel you on that one, as my above post conveys. He’s the only celebrity that I truly would love to meet above all others!

I think so too @Etch-A-Sketch. Don’t a lot of psych researchers think Jesus was schizophrenic?

I don’t know about that theory in particular @Unclehenry and I don’t wanna get into religious discussion but if he’s real thats who I would want to meet

What city do you live in? I’ll be there in the morning.

@Persia Jackie Chan (成龍) has been filming fewer and fewer of his comedy action movies since he turned 60 (He will be 65 this year). He is now mainly acting in dramas as his body is unable to do the stunts he used to do. Usually the film credits of all his recent movies show the bloopers of the film which are quite funny. Rush Hour 1-3, The Medallion, The Tuxedo, Shanghai Noon & Shanghai Knights are some of his English speaking movies.

The singer-songwriter-guitarist Roy Orbison. I love his songs and his operatic voice. But, he was also a modest gentleman and a great father.

I’d like to ask him about how he constructed some of his biggest hits like “In Dreams”, “You Got It” and “It’s Over”.

Probably Einstein even though it is cliche. Maybe he would be boring. Maybe some other mathematicians like kurt godel, etc.

I’d like to meet Sam Harris, he seems interesting. Perhaps give a little chat about what its like to be delusional and having a psychotic break. I’d be interested to see what sorts of things he’d talk about.

Who is Sam Harris?

He’s somewhat a philosopher but basically he’s just a prominent author who’s talked about the nature of consciousness and ai, and generally a political commenter.

Very smart person, has a podcast. Just think it would be interesting to talk about psychosis and see if a personal account of it would do anything for em or if he’d just be more interested in broad strokes stuff.
