I want to thank the mods. It really changed my life. I got a job that pays 20.25 an hour, quit smoking and lost ten pounds. Without a break from the forum I don’t think it would have happened.

Did you ask to get suspended
The problem is that the forum is like a circle jerk for depressed people. There is rarely any positivity on the forum. It leads people to think they are helpless. I bet the majority of people would do well to get off this forum. We need positivity not negativity. A little positivity will make people realize they can actually achieve something and that they’re not low-functioning. Instead people learn helplessness and dependency on this forum.

Some disabilities are real. Some of us just need time to heal. So there is comfort and support here while we are growing. I feel I am a better person because of this forum. I also feel I’ve found people I can care about instead of my usual avoidance of others.My fears are a lot physical, so since non of you are in my physical presence, I can develop a sense of being social and having trust.

I love the forum because it is my social time. Without it I would be completely secluded and alone. I am not at all depressed and I don’t believe this forum is either negative nor depressing.
