Thanks for nothing, doc

I had to analyze my own blood test since my doctor never did, and I’m glad I did. The most important finding is that my average estimated glucose was 249. I had to look it up myself and found out that if you have 250 you should seek immediate medical attention. It would have been nice if my doctor brought this to my attention or said even one word about it. I’m 1 point away from an emergency visit and no one even tells me, I had to find it out myself. I don’t know if I’m still at a dangerous level or not, I won’t find out until September 5th.

And she didn’t even volunteer to give me my test results, I had to send a private message asking her if she can look at my blood test results. I’m disgusted with waiting two months for 5 minute doctor appointments and I’m disgusted at doctor visits where they stare at a computer screen and barely look or talk to you. I’m disgusted with my doctors. I don’t know if I’m in immediate danger right now from my glucose levels or not.

I’d try and find another clinic once this stuff gets sorted. You could also if you have the money try and get a glucose detector. If it gets too high you could go to the ER.

Since I have Medicaid, my choices are limited. I was at another clinic for several years but it was 10 miles away and I hated the drive back and forth.

249 blood glucose count is way too high.
You really should bypass this knucklehead doctor and go to the ER on your own.

I don’t go to the doctor until the 5th. I had a day where I felt I was going to pass out but I feel better now.
