They meant a lot. My mum was still a bit angry at first this morning then she apologised. It is clear to me now that, although I love them, I will need to keep a certain distance between us from now on. They don’t want to understand and never will. So I am not going to put my faith in them from now on.

it’s not easy for them to understand a MI that even baffles doctors sometimes. it’s cool that she apologized though. my mom would never outright apologize. and I don’t blame her because it’s her family’s custom for the parent to always be more righteous than the child.
