Thank you for holding!

So. Have an ( Major German Shopping supplier ) television that is on the fritz. It starts to break up in the picture and you need to turn it on and off. Not sure but something isn’t right so today spent over an hour getting some warranty support.

I’m good at talking to people and it’s my job around here. I know how to get the best out of Indian support chats. You have to be patient and stand your ground and know your shopping rights and all. Be polite. Just hold your ground.

Anyways. Have a receipt and just emailed that off. Should have some action in a day or two. Sometimes you need to be curt and on point with people especially in call centers. Yay me. We have some movement after all that. We don’t want a tv that stops during rugby league season!

Way too much practice!

Honestly. You do something often enough you get pretty good at it. I’ve always been a talker since I was little. It really helps I think because it teaches you to think quick and choose paths through conversation. It’s something that can be learned.

Thanks for the reply! Two days they don’t turn up we’ll take the bloody thing back to the shop and get a refund. Can buy a little smaller but a smart tv for a little less! Always give yourself options in a negotiation!

Yea if taking it back is an option I think I would have tried that first. I recently bought a new tv & hope I don’t have any issues with it since I ordered it off the internet & have no other tv to use, so if it goes out it would put me in a tough spot.
