well no trips planned anytime soon, mom is going to west virginia for a hiking trip this month, but she doesn’t want me to go along. she wants a break from me basically. anyhow mom and dad have a 50th wedding anniversary next march and they have decided to celebrate it they are going to alaska for the first time. we have a cousin who lives there with a guest house, who is allowing them to stay for free and is also going to be their alaskan travel guide. long story short, mom said, after she gets back from alaska we will both go and check out the finger lakes, in new york, a place both of us have never seen. so im excited about that but also it will be a long year staying here not going anywhere.
