I got a job as a park ranger when I was 40. (diagnosed in 1980 when I was 19.) It got pretty cool getting a company truck to drive around in parks by myself making sure people followed the park rules.

They thought I didn’t have wisdom teeth because they were so far back they didn’t show up on the X-ray. I still have them, but probably don’t have to get them pulled

I used to have white and pink Spice Girls shoes, and a Spice Girls wallet.
My mother tricked me by taking me to the shoestore to look at shoes without warning me first, and then bought me the first pair i showed interest in, and then forced me to give my cool, worn out Spice Girls shoes to the cashier and watch her throw them out.
Man I cried so hard.

That derailed a bit. Something cool about me, hmm…
I have synaesthesia :smiley:
It means my senses get crossed, so I do things like smell texture and hear colours.

Um there’s a lot of cool stuff I could say but people would think I’m bragging, being grandiose, or delusional. They’re not cool just connections in the family. (I actually embarassed them when I went psychotic) Aside from that tho I have a past that you would not believe. Like I was practically someone u write a book about in my early 20s before developing sz

I can play 3 different instruments & I know 3 different languages (not fluently but still like a decent amount), I have a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and earned that degree while having my mental health issues (didn’t even have disability services until senior year) & untreated narcolepsy.

I’m amazing, dangit. And ya know what? My nursing program was absolutely stupid for putting me on the wait list just because my initial science gpa was low because the only science course it counted from my first degree was chemistry which is one of the literally 2 out of the 12 science courses I took and got a C in.
