I love coffee and I want to know what you guys drink
For quick instant coffee, I use Douwe Egberts pure indulgence dark roast
When I have time I brew an authentic coffee using a french press maker - use Lavazza ground coffee or Starbucks beans which I grind in my electric grinder
I like Nescafe Gold Espresso with whole milk powder and sugar the most. Sometimes I use Kirkland Costco Colombian coffee with a regular electric filter coffee machine.
When I am on the road I drink large amounts of coffee to keep my morale up, so I’m always looking for an open coffee pot, mostly in grocery stores and motel lobbies. I’ve also been known to duck into an office in the middle of the afternoon and ask them if I can have the leftover coffee in their pot. There are usually three or four cups there. My favorite type of coffee is when I come across a pot of lukewarm coffee and no one wants it. I usually guzzle about three or four cups like that. I’ve also been known to go to an AA meeting for the coffee. Now that I am on food stamps I will be able to buy as much instant coffee as I want if I ever jump back out on the road again. As for being on the road - I’ve only been out for a period of a few months several different times. At the time I felt great because of all the coffee I was drinking.
If we’re lazy, Timothy’s Light Breakfast Blend cups in our Keurig. Typically we have Great Canadian Light Breakfast Blend beans hand ground in a burr grinder and then pressed in our IKEA French press (the Bodum died from overuse). We have a Breville espresso maker and are wont to make lattes with it.
My daughter’s friend works at Tim Horton’s. I’m told a popular order is The Gretzky. That’s nine cream and nine sugar (number 99). I imagine there wouldn’t be much room left in the cup for the cof-fay!
