Talking heads

Anybody love em? Anybody hate em?

I grew up on them. My parents would play burning down the house and we would dance around when i was little. Anyway just wondering if people see them as innovative.

I’m not into classic rock.

A lot of people like it or pretend to like it for the cool factor,

But I like very few songs from that era.

Hate The Beatles.

Unpopular opinion, but it’s mine.

I wouldnt call talking heads classic rock

The reason I brought them up is because I feel like they were a law unto themselves do people agree that they were creatively variant from bands around them anybody can think of a band that’s similar to Talking Heads other than Tom Tom Club?

I wouldn’t know enough about it to comment.

I know the songs.

Most people do.

But I don’t care for it.

Just my taste.

Good or bad, it’s mine.

I only heard of them quite recently. I keep hearing Once In A Lifetime  . Seem like it got more popular recently.

I love that song too. Kind of a darker side to the New York new wave/punk music.

@FreeLunch I love the Heads. I think they’re one of the most innovative and original bands to come out of that CBGB scene.
