Some of their songs are great, like “Life During Wartime” and “Wild Wild Life”
I love The Talking Heads!
Their greatest hits CD is amazeballs. And it is a good eclectic mix of their whole catalogue.
Sure, at my job in the eighties the boss played music all day, every day. It was on a long loop and I heard “Psycho Killer” and “Burning Down the House” every day a few times a day. It’s seared into my brain along with “Here Comes the Rain Again” by the Eurythmics.
I like the live album Stop Making Sense. I remember my boyfriend burned a copy of it for me in high school. I can still remember his tiny handwriting on the front of the CD—that distinctive teenage boy scrawl.
I like this song too, although every time I hear it I think of that movie “Look Who’s Talking.”
I dig their sound.
