When I was 12 years old, I took tadpoles from a pond and put them in a container made of plastic, I wanted them to turn into frogs eventually, so one day I was out it was a very hot day, I came back to check on my tadpoles and they were all dead the water was very warm, they died from the heat of the sun
Sorry to hear. That must’ve been horrible, especially at age 12.
I must admit it was unkind of me to take them from their natural habitate and try breed them into frogs at the time
You’re in a very wistful mood today @san_pedro.
I’ve never heard of the word ‘‘wistful’’ can you post it’s meaning?
Nostalgic or regretful longing
I have many regrets because of what I faced each time, in certain times of my past
It’s not your fault. You were a kid, you didn’t know any better? How were you meant to know that removing the tadpoles from their natural habitat would hurt them if no one told you? I think you are a good person, @san_pedro. I know it may not feel like it at times, but you are human just like the rest of us. Your mistakes do not define you.
yes thanks I didn’t understand fully knowing, my idea was to look after them till they turned into frogs, my intention was good at the time…
You were just trying to help. No one can fault you for that.
