I agree. I don’t see “totality” here… (just as I don’t see it with respect to almost anything about sz or any other psychiatric problem). My reliability may be “diminished,” but not absolutely so, and I can see that that is the case with many others on this web forum.
If I’m stable I’m a good shoulder to cry on. May not feel why they are crying but still. If I’m unstable I hide when people are upset.
I disagree. I had a friend a long time ago who also had paranoid schizophrenia. I knew him for 6 years. He told me more than once that I helped him out. I don’t know what I did to help him but he also helped me. There were problems sometimes but we got along great for the most part.
Yeah… Don’t generalize anything. Undermines the worlds complex and the internal diversity of humanity.

I should qualify that to I’m gone when there is a problem that requires mind work.
