Study regarding sz/sza and dementia

I’m sure I’m getting early onset dementia. Here’s the association between the two.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1737362/

Check the side effects of the benzo you take. It’s probably that.

Both my Mother and two Aunts suffer with Dementia.
I’m worried that I’ll get it.
Sometimes it feels like I have Dementia already.
Today I tried to speak and the words came out wrong.
I think it’s called Aphasia it’s a Dementia symptom.
Yeah I’m worried.

I understand your worry. Dementia is in my family too. I lose my words often. So often people who are close to me already know and fill in the blanks.

Benzo use have a direct link to alziemers and dementia in elderly. Even taking them at middle age and quiting shows an increase in them in elder years

I do try to limit my benzos use but it’s not easy when anxiety is way out of control. Since I started the Zoloft it’s improved a bit but last night was so bad. Benzos it is. I’m bound to get dementia anyway

I am also worried about it. I had a smaller brain on my MRI, so that is why I am worried. I am going in for a second MRI to see if it is something that is progressing (i.e. dementia) or is it stable (in which case I just have a weird brain - could have told them that without the scan, lol). I don’t have it in my family, just sz and related disorders.
