Stress, triggers and psychosis

What effect does stress have on your psychosis?
What are some of your triggers?

Stress CAUSES my psychosis to happen. I had a stressful month recently and felt that I nearly relapsed. I didn’t, but it was a reminder.

Yeah, stress can cause my psychosis too. It always adds to it.

I am not sure I ever become psychotic, though I guess they must have me on an antipsychotic for a reason . What does happen with stress is that I can become emotionally volatile and irrationality and paranoia ramps up. My thinking processes take a nose dive. The Consta helps with that.

Stress is a trigger, it can drive me over the edge

If I have even the slightest amount of anxiety I’m usually triggered into a psychotic episode. Because there’s not a stressful thing about being threatened by disembodied voices, right?

Thanks for the replies, can anyone give examples of types of stress that may bring about psychosis?

Can be anything bad, to much to do, theft of your stuff or damage, to many bills, really everyone is different and what might set them off
