Starting a diet to get to a healthy weight. Anyone want to join me?

I want to lose weight so I am officially announcing my diet plans. I will try for some exercise at home too.

My new med is killing my appetite so that started it all. Plus some other family I have are doing the keto diet so that made me rethink things.

I can do this. I lost 60 lbs already from seroquel weight gain, but since that loss I have been stuck. I want to lose more to get to a healthy weight, not overweight anymore.

Anyone want to join me in a healthy diet? :slightly_smiling_face:

I’d like to try to be healthy too. I’m not sure what to do tho lol even when I eat balanced I’m still hungry and have too much of even the healthy foods. :stuck_out_tongue: Not sure how to lose weight tbh.

That is a challenge for sure!! @POET

I was stuck in that trap too with eating too much of the even “healthy good foods.” I think I might be pulling out of it though. At least I hope so. :crossed_fingers:

I still got a chubby belly lol I won’t give up even though it’s been years of trying to lose weight. My weight flixuates like sometimes I can almost see my abs but then I slip and end up back at the sorta pudgy looking like Mario stage

@POET I feel you. My stomach is really my problem area. I carry my weight there. Definitely hard to lose. I might try doing more sit ups. Who knows.

I’d like to lose 50 pounds.

Trying to eat a little more nutritiously and cutting back on snacks and alcohol.

I’m on a perpetual, never ending, calorie restriction diet. Been on it for the last ten years. It’s how I keep my weight down. I use www.MyFitnessPal.com to track my calories .

I also practice yoga on a regular basis. This keeps me fit, flexible, strong and pain free.

Good luck with the diet @anon90992146. Keto is a good choice I think

I wish I can do that. I recently quit my diet as I couldn’t keep doing it. I lost 55kg in 8 months. I eat more now but still less than when I was 150kg

I’m thinking chicken and health fish with one unhealthy day and small dessert with some meals … I also lost 60lbs but from zyprexa. I think I also want to stop vaping

I lost some weight but I need to lose at least 10 more pounds

I’m eating low carb and counting my calories and I’m slowly losing weight but sometimes things are at a stand still…

You might start losing if you add exercise. Studies show that those fitbit step counters are not effective for weight loss @Wave.

Step tracking is a form of movement @SkinnyMe

It still counts

I’m in no physical shape to formally exercise but moving around a lot taking care of my new puppy is contributing to my weight loss
