Any update? Still on Caplyta?

Hi. I am off of Caplyta now, back on Abilify. I had a series of panic attacks. My doc and I decided it would be beneficial for me to go back on the Abilify for the time being.

I really do think Caplyta is a good med though.

Also, I managed to get down to 223 on Caplyta. I was originally 245 lbs

@cathart1c

It must be crap or otherwise you’ll still be in it. Another failure of a drug.

What I mean is that I can see it working for other ppl in different situations.

Many people have reported that it does nothing for schizophrenia. I’m yet to see a good review that I believe.

I can’t believe this drug. All hype and money making bull ■■■■.

There will always be some super responders who find a given meds very usefull. And the majority of people who don’t get any benefits from the meds.

I am back on the Caplyta guys. The panic attacks were due to drug use (which I have elminated).

Will report back with further progress!

I spent 3 weeks on Caplyta. Did nothing. Not even a side effect. Most useless med I’ve ever taken. Even got reverse-paranoid that I was being given a placebo.

Well that’s good you didn’t get side effects when I took abilify it did nothing and I had bad side effects

So anyone get good experiences on caplyta? I wanna take it in the future.

I’m also on caplyta, started it about 3 months ago. So far, no psychotic symptoms and I am noticeably less hungry. I’ve lost about 12 pounds since starting it. My depression seems worse and I’m not really sure why that is, but overall I think it’s pretty good. At least as far as antipsychotics go.

Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.

Thanks,
