I’m supposed to be switching from abilify to caplyta,
But I’m not sure if I’ll actually do it.
My doctor says it’s very similar, just causes less weight gain.

I guess I don’t know. Don’t think I ever saw it.
I’ve tried both. Abilify is more activitating, caused weight gain, and addiction issues. Caplyta short term trial caused weight loss and sleepiness. I was only on it for like a month at 42 mg and it didn’t work so I went back to 9 mg of Vraylar. I would love to try caplyta again or especially a lower dose of vraylar + caplyta at the same time.

Abilify gave me addictions and hypersexuality as side effects. Was on 20mg for 8 years. Side effects gradually got worse.
