SSI related question in US

I am unsure if this question is in the right category, move please if necessary…

So I applied for SSI here in the US back in September of course due to the mental health craziness. We can say this because we have the right . I have been notified by DDS that because my records state chronic back pain and a prior broken leg they want a medical physical (not psychological) and x-rays. Why? Yes, these two things cause some issues such as occasional tingling, unsteadiness when trying to get up from kneeling positions, etc.
But I did not apply for SSI on anything physical. So I am not understanding how these are relevant besides digging up every tidbit of my embarrassing information that can be mustered.

Anyone have an experience such as this?

SSA wants everything in your medical records even if it’s irrelevant. They want complete records.

same. the two times i applied i got SSI right after seeing the state doctor. i think seeing their doctor is better than medical records.
